Artanda Website Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Artanda website ("Website"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Website and participation in Artanda's art classes and services. By accessing the Website and enrolling in Artanda's art classes, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website or participate in Artanda's art classes.

2. Membership and Enrollment

2.1 Application Process: Membership and enrollment in Artanda's art classes are subject to approval by Artanda. Artanda reserves the right to accept or reject membership applications at its sole discretion.

2.2 Termination: Artanda reserves the right to terminate a membership without notice if a member is found to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Course Policies

3.1 Course Content: Artanda may make changes to course content as necessary without prior notification. Artanda will make every effort to deliver the course content as advertised on the Website, but changes may occur for the general benefit of students. Such changes do not affect the cancellation policy.

3.2 Bank Holidays: Artanda courses generally do not run on Bank Holiday Mondays. The duration of courses may be extended to accommodate Bank Holidays.

4. Digital Devices

Please note that personal digital devices are not allowed to be plugged in during Artanda classes due to insurance policies.

5. Uncollected Work

Artwork not claimed at the end of the session will not be stored and may be disposed of after each individual session.

 

6. Liability

6.1 Health and Safety: Participation in Artanda art classes involves a degree of health and safety risk. By enrolling, you accept responsibility for the correct and safe use of provided materials and resources. Artanda and its associates are not liable for any failure to do so. Please review the provided risk assessment for your course.

6.2 Injury or Accident: In the event of injury or accident, please report it to the designated first aider on-site, who will be introduced on the first day of your course.

6.3 Loss or Damage: Artanda is not liable for any loss or damage attributable to your actions or those of a third party. Artanda is not responsible for any loss or damage to belongings, property, or clothing.

6.4 Liability Limitation: Where Artanda is liable, its liability shall not exceed the amount of your course fees.

 

7. Allergy Information

Artanda provides home-baked cakes and refreshments, which may not be allergy-safe, and cross-contamination may occur. If you have allergies, please inform Artanda during booking, and accommodations will be made. You are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

 

8. Course Cancellation Due to Events Outside Artanda's Control

In the event that a class or series of classes cannot run due to circumstances outside Artanda's control, including but not limited to industrial action, illness, severe weather, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events, Artanda may re-arrange, move to an online format, or cancel the class. If canceled, you will receive a voucher for use toward another Artanda course.

 

9. Cancellations

9.1 Artanda Cancellations: If Artanda cancels a course, you will have the option to transfer to another course or receive a full refund of fees within 1 month under normal conditions. Artanda is not liable for any other consequential loss.

9.2 Participant Cancellations: If you need to cancel your course, this must be done more than 14 days in advance to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date will not be refunded.

 

10. Attendance and Illness

If you are unable to attend a session for any reason, Artanda is not liable for any loss. In the event that a class cannot run due to the instructor's illness, it will be rescheduled.

 

11. Participant Conduct

Artanda reserves the right to ask any participant to leave if their conduct is deemed unacceptable. Unacceptable conduct includes, but is not limited to, verbal or physical abuse, damage to property, intoxication, filming, harassment, safety violations, sexually inappropriate behavior, hateful behavior, and possession of illegal substances or weapons.

 

12. Complaints

Any complaints must be submitted in writing to helena.artanda@gmail.com within 10 days of the issue arising.

 

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Artanda reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Website and participation in Artanda's classes after any modifications will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
