TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Our Terms and Conditions for Art Classes outline the rights, responsibilities, and expectations of our members. All members must agree to respect the privacy of other members and to abide by the rules and regulations of our art classes. We reserve the right to terminate a membership without notice if a member is found to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions. We also reserve the right to reject applications for membership at our discretion. By joining our Art Classes, you agree to follow our policies and procedures.
DATA POLICY
When you sign up to our newsletter or sign up for a course you provide us personal information such as:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- We may also ask you your home address
- transactions and billing information via credit or debit cards or by direct debit and other payment methods, details of which you provide so that we can receive payments from you;
This information is stored digitally and we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference or loss, as well as from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Please note, we may at times be required by law or regulations to share information.
We use the information collected to provide our services to you. This includes the delivery of classes and other services, and responding to your enquiries. We may also use this data to help us carry out market analysis and improve the service we offer.
You can access or update your information at any time by contacting us. We will delete your data from our system on receipt of written instruction from you via email.
You can opt out of receiving communications from us by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any email. However, we may still hold your data unless otherwise instructed to destroy this.
COOKIES
A cookie is a text file that is stored on your computer and stores information such as the preferences you have set when you visit our website. Our website uses cookies. To manage your authorisation of cookies, please access your browser settings. By not blocking cookies you are authorising the use of cookies on our website. COURSE POLICIES
Please be aware that changes may be made to course content, as necessary. Notification need not be given. Every effort will be made to deliver the course content advertised on the website, unless changes are deemed to be in general student interest. Our cancellation policy is not affected by any changes to course content.

BANK HOLIDAYS
Courses generally do not run on Bank Holiday Mondays – please check the course document carefully. Both the Six Week Watercolour Course : One and the Six Week Watercolour Course : Two aim to provide 12 hours of contact time. Where a bank holiday falls, the course will run over a seven or eight week period. Please check dates carefully

DIGITAL DEVICES
Please note any personal digital devises will not be able to be plugged in during the class, this is due to insurance policies.

UNCOLLECTED WORK
Please note, work not claimed at the end of the session can not be stored. Please note any unclaimed/uncollected work will be disposed of after each individual session.

LIABILITY
Please be aware that any art class carries a degree of health and safety risk. Please be aware that by enrolling you must take responsibility for correct and safe use of the materials and resources provided and I, nor anyone associated with Artanda, will be liable for your failure to do so. Please make sure you are familiar with our risk assessment prior to enrolling on a course. This will be included in your welcome email once you have received confirmation of your booking. Health and safety is taken seriously and all effort is made to ensure a safe environment. Please ensure you follow the guidelines within the risk assessment and report any injury or accident to the first aider on site, who will be made apparent to you on the first day of your course. Please note, I can not be held liable for any damage or loss attributable to your own fault or that of a third party. Please be aware, that I am not liable for any loss or damage of belongings and property, including any damage to clothing.

Where Artanda is liable, this amount shall not exceed the amount of your course fees.

ALLERGY
At Artanda , free home-baked cakes and refreshments are provided. Please be aware that these are not allergy safe and cross contamination may well have occurred. If you do have an allergy please make this known on booking. I will be happy to supply an individually-wrapped treat for you (please note the information on the label) Of course, you are welcome to bring your own refreshments too. ​

COURSE CANCELLATION DUE TO EVENTS OUTSIDE MY CONTROL
If a class or series of classes can not run due to industrial action, illness, severe weather, civil disorder, political unrest, government restrictions and concern with regard to the transmission of serious illness (including COVID), war, lockdown, threat of war, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, strikes or other industrial dispute, natural disaster, fire, act of God, terrorist activities, technical problems with transportation, closures of airports, ports and/or ferries, government action, your class may be re-arranged, moved to an online format, or cancelled. If it is cancelled , you will receive a voucher to use towards another Artanda course.
CANCELLATIONS
If I cancel an Artanda course, you will be given the opportunity to transfer to another course. Otherwise the full cost of fees will be refunded within 1 month, under normal conditions. I am not liable for any other consequential loss.

Should you need to cancel your course, this must be done more than 14 days in advance. Cancellations made less then 14 days before the start of the course will not be refunded.
​
ATTENDANCE
If you are unable to attend a session for any reason, but the course itself continues, Artanda is not liable for any loss.
​
ILLNESS
If a class cannot run due to my illness, this class will be rescheduled.
​
PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
I have the right to ask any participant to leave if their conduct is deemed unacceptable. In this case, refunds will not be given. Unacceptable conduct includes:
- verbal or physical abuse
- causing damage to property
-attending a course intoxicated
- Filming, photographing or disrespecting a model
- harassment or intimidating behaviour
- putting the health and safety of other or yourself at risk
- sexually inappropriate behaviour or harassment or abuse.
- hateful behaviour
- possessing an illegal substance or weapon

COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be made in writing to helena.artanda@gmail.com within 10 days of the class of issue.
